Ages
For the 2024-25 season this program will be for players born in 2016 and 2017.
Where
Your practices and home games will be played at the Bethlehem YMCA.
When
Registration opens in Mid-June and closes at the end of September. Practices begin in October and your season runs until the beginning of March.
Practices/Games
Our 8U program will practice 3 times per week. Practices are station-based and follow USA Hockey ADM practice plans. Skill sessions with our Skills Instructor are included in your ice allocation.
We are lucky to have North American Hockey System coach Dave Randall and his staff run our skills night practices each week, as well as Scott Rock from winning edge assisting our players on hockey fundamentals.
Our 8U teams will play half-ice games against teams from other local clubs. Teams are comprised of 9-12 players and coached by USA Hockey certified adults.
Additional Costs
Your team may participate in a few tournaments. One of these tournaments typically costs each player around $20-40. Details concerning this will be discussed within the teams.
2024-2025 Season
Our 8U program follows the USA Hockey ADM Model, where player development is the primary focus. The 8U teams will enjoy half-ice games, ADM practices, and on ice skill sessions.
